SOUL KITCHEN DINNER
September through May, you’ll find a complete hot meal at Emmanuel Episcopal Church (37 West Main Street, Norwich, NY) on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Please join us for good food and good company! HOT DOG LUNCHES
In the summer (June through August) stop by Emmanuel Episcopal Church (37 West Main Street, Norwich, NY) every Wednesday for a free hot dog lunch. If the weather’s good, we’ll have a neighborhood cookout on the sidewalk, otherwise you’ll find us indoors in the parish hall. All are welcome. CHIT, CHAT & CHEW WINTER DINNERS
One Saturday each month in January, February, and March, you can get a hot lunch in the village of New Berlin! Lunch is sponsored by St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church (40 South Main Street, New Berlin, NY), St. Theresa’s Catholic Church (24 North Main Street, New Berlin, NY), or First United Methodist Church (51 South Main Street, New Berlin, NY). Food pantries
OUR DAILY BREAD FOOD CLOSET
Located at Emmanuel Episcopal Church (37 West Main Street, Norwich, NY), Our Daily Bread Food Closet distributes food for over 70,000 meals each year. Volunteers help unload delivery trucks, set up the pantry, oversee distribution, and more. Please send us an email or call Emmanuel Episcopal Church at (607) 334-8801 for more information.

MISSION OUTREACH EMERGENCY FUNDS
Emmanuel Episcopal Church (37 West Main Street, Norwich, NY) maintains an emergency grant fund for Chenango County families who need help with a utility shut-off notice or prescription co-pay. The church also makes donations through this fund to sponsor local community programs, to sponsor an child through Children International, and to make disaster grants for families affected by house fires. HEATING ASSISTANCE GRANTS
Emmanuel Episcopal Church partners with the R.C. Smith Foundation to offer heating assistance grants each winter (October through April). Grants help residents of Chenango County with fuel or energy costs when federal HEAP funds have been depleted or if a family has not qualified for HEAP. GAS VOUCHERS
Norwich residents who need to drive to medical appointments or job interviews, or to drive to a new job until the first paycheck comes through, may be eligible for gas vouchers from Emmanuel Episcopal Church to help with the cost of gas. THANKSGIVING GIFT CERTIFICATES
In support of the Norwich-area churches’ holiday gift program, Emmanuel Episcopal Church (37 West Main Street, Norwich, NY) sponsors gift certificates to help 100 families purchase food for holiday meals at home. We distribute the gifts certificates on the Monday before Thanksgiving at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Please contact the United Church of Christ of Norwich to apply for a gift certificate or send us an email if you’d like to make a donation to help a local family.
MONDAY CRAFTING
Join the Episcopal Church Women every Monday morning at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church (3324 North Main Street, South New Berlin) for a fun crafting session. We make holiday and household items to be sold at the church’s popular Tasting Tea each November.

CHENANGO EPISCOPAL WORK DAYS
Get your hands dirty! All the Episcopal churches of Chenango County spend a few days together each summer on local beautifcation projects such as landscaping in cemeteries, painting churches, or doing minor repairs.
